Tatuaje Black was created as Pete Johnson's personal cigar - blended for his own use. Last year he released that Corona Gorda in ceramic jars and it became the stuff of legend.
Blended to evoke the personal touch of a cigar that you might find in local regions - the kind of cigar that the locals roll for themselves. Pete created this to keep the tradition of handing someone a special cigar in person. Used at special cigar events, the demand for at least a limited release of this blend has resulted in a mere 1000 jars of 19 cigars to be produced.
From Pete: "A great cigar that will always in my mind represent the
place, the time, and the experience of the purity of the simple life.
This cigar may be considered ugly by some but inside that surface
roughness it contains such rich flavor and aroma. Sometimes a cigar is
just a cigar. This is a tribute to that cigar."
This year, a Torpedo version is released in aluminum Tubos.

The Torpedo measures 6 1/8 x 52, is packaged in stylish screw-bottom aluminum tubes and sports an uncut foot.
Shipping note - all singles ship without box regardless of quantity
- these boxes are over 3 lbs. each to ship - choose your favorite
shipping method and we will adjust it if the actual cost is less - if
choosing Fedex and the address is residential - you must choose Fedex
Home delivery - Fedex Ground will only deliver to business addresses. Boxes cannot be sealed with humidipak as they are too long. They are shrunk wrapped at factory though. Singles will be packaged as normal.
